SPEAKING & FACILITATION

Conversations that turn complexity into shared understanding.

I design and lead workshops, briefings and facilitated conversations that help people understand complex ideas, connect them to organisational realities and work out what comes next.

How sessions work

Structured when they need to be.
Conversational whenever they can be.

I am most at home in interactive sessions where people can test ideas, bring real organisational circumstances into the room and build shared understanding. More structured presentations and briefings are shaped around the same aim: making complexity understandable and useful.

Ways to work together

Different formats for different conversations.

The format is shaped around the audience, purpose and decisions or
understanding the session needs to support.

In-house workshops

Tailored learning for organisations, leadership groups and teams, grounded in real practice questions and the context in which people are working.

Board and executive briefings

Focused sessions on strategic NDIS priorities, organisational change and the implications of policy, operational and funding decisions.

Facilitation and communities of practice

Single sessions or sustained conversations focused on NDIS practice, leadership, difficult questions and learning that develops over time.

Sector conversations

Podcasts, panels and other conversations where practical experience and careful translation can contribute to a useful discussion.

Experience in practice

Learning work developed through repeated delivery.

I have delivered more than 300 online workshops and webinars, alongside dozens of in-house workshops, facilitated sessions and communities of practice. Several programs ran repeatedly and sold out over multiple years.

Current areas of focus

Topics shaped by the audience and purpose.

These areas reflect established work rather than a fixed catalogue. New sessions continue to develop through writing, sector change and the questions organisations bring.

SIL and Home and Living

Participant needs, pathways and NDIS alignment

Funding, claiming and service viability

Supported decision-making and participant-centred practice

Leadership, reform and organisational change

Translating policy into operational practice

The facilitation approach

Expertise brought into partnership, not imposed
on the room.

My role varies with the purpose. Sometimes the group needs to reach a decision or develop practical actions. Sometimes people need to understand one another, see gaps more clearly or recognise the expertise they already hold.

  • Translate complex concepts into clear understanding

  • Connect ideas to actual organisational realities

  • Help people identify gaps without displacing their expertise

  • Shape the conversation around what the group needs to achieve
